As she walked away, I noticed the blue gym shorts hugged her hips tighter than ever before, and those oversized t-shirts she wore now didn't seem so big on her. She had definitely grown up over the past year.

"Damn!" I whispered, shaking my head. She turned around and looked up. Feeling caught again, I just grinned and waved. Surely she hadn't heard me…

Yesterday evening I was still working on a big project that was coming due when she pulled back up to the house. It was around dusk, so I had my desk lamp on, and she saw me sitting in the window.
