Sex is throwing off my PH balance, but I love the cream pies
My boyfriend and I have sex at least 5 times a week. 2-3 of these days, he doesn't pull out. We both want to stay this active, and im on birth control so we are happy to keep going raw, but his semen is throwing off my PH balance and my vagina ends up smelling like sex for a couple days before slowly starting to fade. He's very hygienic and cleans himself thoroughly with PH balanced soap before sex, I'm positive it has nothing to do with his hygiene. I wash myself after sex, but that doesn't help much. Ladies, how do you deal with this situation? I want to get vaginal probiotics, but with 100's to choose from, I don't know which one to get.

Drip sticks are soooo amazing they have been such a game changer for me. I used to have to use boric acid suppositories but now I don't even have to do that!
Same I can't sing the praises enough. I'm very active and nothing worse than being on a hike and yesterday's deposit comes out. I'd want to cry. lol. I started making him wear a condom on days I had something to do the next day, he got me these kind of as a joke but nope. So legit.
This happens to me when I have sex often, the semen just upsets my pH no matter what. Having sex less, or having come outside of me every other time or so also helps. Boric acid suppositories could also be useful, putting one in after sex - however you might end up in a constant cycle of low and high pH and make things worse. Semen is naturally alkaline and it will bring down the acidity of your vaginal canal each time it's introduced, making it harder to keep the bacteria that causes the smell at bay. It then comes back up to normal pH and the smell goes away. Less semen, or introducing more acidity with boric acid could help - but you'll have to deal with the annoyance of the boric acid coming out and discharge it causes. He may also get some grittiness because of it depending on how soon you have sex after - but it's not too terrible.
